November 2006:
061123: Yes, it has been a while--a long while since I've updated this page.
After my return from my Stanley J Seeger Fellowship, through working/research in Greece, I've been in Turkey for a little, and then was in Shanghai for a Studio/Work related travel within the past few months.

However, I have updated my Detailed Professional CV + a few Design projects.
Currently, been involved with the Storefront for Art and Architecture Installation + selected as Exhibition Finalists for several Competitions [Arts/Architecture Related].

People were starting to get worried.
So, all I can say is, I'm having an excellent time, and doing very well.
Busy as usual w/ work + travels, but doing excellent, and loving it.

060308: Just came back fr/ the 19th Century german composer Richard Wagner's Die Walkure [The Valkyrie: the one abt Siegmund and Sieglinde's long lost separation] Orchestra performance at the Richardson Auditorium. They only performed Act I, b/c possibly if they were to do the whole thing, possibly no one would have wanted to sit through it.
Although I must say that I was impressed by the overall impression of the orchestra, esp. the solo cellist, and the male tenor lead vocalist, I cannot say the same for the female soprano lead vocalist, who personally, I thought, was only capable for her high pitch and lacking low pitch operatic chords.
Nonetheless, the performance space really gave the orchestra the climax that they needed. the overall closing of the 'love and consummating' scene was brilliant. The violinists, cellists, and the woodwinds collaborated in a well-rounded performance, if not just a satisfying one.
